We will have the following activities planned during the retreat:

Jewelry Swap: You are welcome to bring a piece of handmade jewelry  valued at a minimum of $40 to participate in our jewelry swap with fellow attendees.  Bring your piece unwrapped with your name.  We will place each piece in a plain brown bag for the swap.

Design Challenge: The theme of the 2025 jewelry design contest is "Carnival".  The idea behind the contest is for you to create a piece of wearable art that falls within the theme.  We would like for you to write a small description of your piece that can be displayed along with it during the contest.  Prizes will be awarded to the runner up and first place.  All mediums will be judged together.

Art Project:  We will have a fun Make and Take project that we will all work on as a group on Wednesday night after dinner.

 

Charity Fundraiser - You are welcome to bring a handmade item valued at a minimum of $75 to be included in our fundraiser for K-9 for Warriors.  Every dollar donated is given directly to this worthy charity.  Please go to their website to see how your dollars benefit a veteran suffering from PTSD by pairing them with service dog that has been rescued and trained.  Their website is https://www.k9sforwarriors.org.  We raised $2315 for them in 2024.
