Learn to create a bezel for a Rivoli using square stitch.  From there you will encase the Rivoli with ladder stitch and then use peyote stitches with increases to create a flowing drapery effect on the bottom half of the pendant.

You will learn how to create a credit card holder out of your choice of cork fabric or alligator leather.  You will learn how to punch holes, but in order to save time the holes will be pre-punched.  You will sew the holder together using two needles and then do the beaded edging around the entire outside of the holder.  You will also be adding a magnetic clasp.

 

If you want to add an outside focal, please bring one to class ready to be added or I will have some available for purchase.  If you chose to add a focal, you will be planning and punching the holes for this placement before putting the holder together.  We will go over the basic tools needed to punch leather.

Additional Materials Fee:  If you would like to purchase a focal, pricing varies based on selection.

You will create two small focals out of blank cabochons and fabric.  They are then added to bead foundations with seed beads and other beads.  Once completed you will chose either a post earring or a French hook.  The findings will be added before the backing. These are quick and light earrings.
