Kiln Enameling – Design your own pieces

Students will learn how to enamel using a kiln.  We will cover sanding, filing, sifting, stages of enamel, and firing using a kiln. We will discuss different techniques, layers, and counter enameling.  The object is for each student to complete at least 3 pieces.

Torch Enameling

Students will use a propane torch to create 3 sets of earrings and/or pendants to wear.   We will cover sanding, filing, sifting, stages of enamel, and firing using a torch. We will discuss different techniques, layers, and counter enameling.  The object is for each student to complete at least 3+ pieces.
