Silver Metal Clay Pendant with Embellishment Options

Make a silver metal clay pendant base, then decide what embellishments you want to add. You can apply stones of different sizes and shapes, add metal clay “tchotchkes” – embellishments - little molded decorations, tiny balls, or other little touches to make the pendant uniquely yours. The picture shows only one of the possible ways to decorate the pendant.

Soft Solder Pendants Using Broken China, Mosaic Tiles, or Stones

The possibilities are endless in this class, but the technique is the same. We will be using a soldering iron, copper foil, and lead-free solder with various types of materials to create unique pendants. A wide variety of materials will be available to use – broken china (there will be many more patterns to choose from), small mosaic tiles, natural or synthetic stones; even sea glass or crystals.

Soft Soldered Bracelets

Make bracelets using soft soldering techniques. We will be using aluminum bracelet blanks, and attaching a center piece made from broken china, mosaic tiles, stones, even sea glass. If you take the soft solder pendant class, you can make matching pieces. We will be using a soldering iron, copper foil, and lead-free solder to create the pieces.
