Drawing and painting were early interests, leading Gail to begin college as an art major. Practicality forced her to pursue an English major, but she continued to hone her skills in many art forms. She began making jewelry about 15 years ago, taking classes at every opportunity. For the last 5 years, she has studied wire-wrapping and silver soldered jewelry with Ronda Stevens of TwistsnTurns. She was a participant at Donna Kato's Clay Carnival in Las Vegas in October, 2016. Gail is a member of the 1st Coast Polymer Clay Guild in St. Augustine, Fl and the Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society, where she teaches classes in kumihimo and polymer clay.
