Marywood Retreat Center is 36.5 miles from Jacksonville International Airport.
If Driving
From the South:
I-95 North to Exit 329 and go left (west) on CR 210. Continue straight (road becomes Greenbriar Road) for approximately 10 miles to intersection with SR 13. Turn right and go north approximately 2 miles to Marywood entrance on left. Driveway is shared with San Juan del Rio Catholic Church and is directly across the road form Geneva Presbyterian Church.
From the North:
I-95 South to I-295 North toward Orange Park. Take Exit 5 San Jose Blvd. South (SR13) for approximately 8 miles to Marywood entrance on the right just after San Juan del Rio Catholic School and Church. Can I bring my family or friend TOP
The Retreat Center is beautiful and would be a nice place to read and relax. With the purchase of a Florida Fishing license your family or friend could spend the day fishing. They could join you for breakfast lunch and dinner. Please inquire at the time of sign up of the additional cost for meals and room rate. Will there be shopping? TOP
There will be additional kits and supplies from each instructor. The instructor will also have a booth set up with additional items for sale. Should I bring tools or task lighting? TOP
Each instructor will provide all tools required for your use during class. Most will provide task lighting if required. But if you have your own personal Ott Lite or task lighting feel free to bring it to your classes. Don't forget your glasses or magnifiers from home. Do I need to bring beads or supplies? TOP
Only if you want to work on projects on your own back in your room. Each instructor will have additional kits available for purchase and will have a wide variety of tools and supplies for sale during market place hours. Will there be breaks? TOP
You can get up and move around as needed. Snacks and beverages are provided. Remember to move around when you need to! Is there a place to visit and bead after hours? TOP
After dinner, there will be activities, but you are welcome to sit together with your new friends and work on projects of your choice. |
