Encrusted Pendant or Bracelet

You can choose to create either a bead encrusted pendant or cuff using fabric as a base with various beads used to fill in outside edges. It combines both peyote and bead embroidery to fill in the spaces.  Students will learn how to combine peyote and bead embroidery to cover the base. You will be using various seed beads, zolidous, large lentils or cabs, drops and czech fire polish beads.

The pendant can be used as an embroidered patch to decorate a small bag.  You can use a predetermined shape or create your own shape.
 
 

Skill Level - Intermediate - Basic bead embroidery, and peyote helpful.

Tiamat's Treasures

Create a fun bead embroidered pendant using fabric, a metal washer, glass cabochons and seed beads.  Students will cover a metal washer with fabric and then bezel the small glass cabs separately. It will then be attached to the surface of the washer. After embroidering around the washer, you can hang fringe or russian leaves off of the pendant.  Stitches used in class will be peyote, bead embroidery and fringe.

Cellini Earrings and Beads

Cellini Earrings and Beads

You will have fun learning to create these earring and beads with cellini peyote.  You will incorporate different sized beads to create a spiral effect for the earrings.  Once you have made an earring, you will then learn how to create a bead by modifying the technique.  This can be very addictive once you get the hang of it.
