You will learn to roll, texture, cut, position bezels, refine, fire and polish bronze metal clay. Carrie will provide design considerations that will lead to successful finished pieces. With this technique you will not be limited to stones that can be fired. Learn Carrie's firing guidelines and techniques so that you can work with all types of metal clay at home. You will have access to try a variety of tools and equipment to help you decide what would be best for your future projects. Finish a bronze pendant or earrings with a choice of stones and sizes that you design, and leave with the expertise and knowledge required to make metal clay jewelry on your own.

Get creative while exploring the wonderful world of color! Learn to use patina paints to create stunning designs on wood, buffalo horn or metal components. Carrie will provide pre-made bronze metal clay flowers for you to finish and attach to the foundation of your choice. Students will work with Vintaj patinas and practice applying to achieve dimension and depth. A selection of foundation bracelets, flowers, leaves and colors will be available to allow creative expression. Finish your piece and leave with the expertise and knowledge required to work with patinas on several surfaces. All levels of experience are welcome.

Want to create those awesome, multi-colored metal clay pieces? Learn how to combine non-precious metals and fire together without failures. You will learn to create a mirror image, reversible pendant with two Five Star Metal Clays (Red Bronze and Light Bronze). Carrie will provide detailed instructions on combining all five of the clays in multiple combinations and fire successfully. Carrie will provide detailed instructions and demonstrations, and help with design considerations while you make the piece. You will have access to try a variety of tools and equipment to help you decide what would be best for your future projects.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Some prior metal clay experience is required.
